What is the Southern Dog Cafe?

Revolutionizing how people connect with adoptable dogs! We are not a traditional “café” …. For us the word stands for: Connect. Adopt. Fundraise. Educate. We are a 501c3 non profit supporting all of the adoptable dogs in our community from the rescues and shelters. In a way, we are the “match.com” for the dogs. We partner with businesses around town, set up our mobile café, then invite the adoptable dogs to come from the shelters and rescues…. we do not have dogs in residence. People are invited to sip free coffee and CONNECT with the adoptable dogs — but no commitment to adopt necessary. Plenty of café visitors come just to love on the dogs and are unable to adopt. The dogs are happy just to receive love and it helps make them more adoptable the more socialized they get! EVERYONE WINS!
